Sheila Allison

Sheila Gail Allison, 67, of Brevard, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. A Transylvania County native, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Christine Hawkins Allison. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Jeannette Mathis.

She loved her family and being “Nana” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; playing with them and cooking for them as they brought a special light to her life.

Her loving survivors include her children: sons Stewart Owenby (Shawnee) and Allison Shane Owenby, and daughter Crystal McGaha (Jimmy); grandchildren: Kayla Summey, Alexis Owenby, Garrett Searcy, Heather Searcy and Zachary Owenby; great-grandchildren: Cooper Mason, Adaleigh Mason, Colter Summey and Ella-Mae Searcy; and her sisters: Faye Allison McCall and Elaine Allison McCall (Charles); as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with Rev. Shannon Owen officiating.
