Melba Hooper

Melba Sue Hooper, 84, a native of Jackson County, NC, passed on September 1, 2021 at Cedar Mountain House in Brevard where she received excellent care.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Gertie Hoyle Hooper and four siblings: Agnes, E.M., Lloyd, and Leonard.  She is survived by seven siblings: Kenneth (Christine); Ina; Alvin (Ellen); Gene (Betty); Glana (Maurice); Mildred; Mac (Irene) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She operated Shadyside Florist in Easley, SC for many years and was well known for her gracious service and beautiful arrangements.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Easley.

A memorial service will be at a later date.

The family requests that memorials be made to your favorite charity in her memory.
