Marjory Mcneil

Marjory (Marge) Neubec McNeil, 84, of Brevard passed away on May 31, 2022. A native of Pontiac, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Laurence and Bessie Neubeck. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son, John McNeil and her brother, Ed Neubeck.

She was born in Michigan and moved to Brevard with her husband Larry in 1993. Marge worked as a nurse in Michigan and as a dental office assistant in Brevard. She was a faithful volunteer at the Chamber of Commerce for many years and delighted in sharing information about her fair city.  She was also a volunteer at the Music Center.

She loved dancing and music of all kinds, flowers and gardening. She and Larry enjoyed traveling. They traveled the U.S. in an R.V. and also made rips to Alaska and Hawai'i.

Marge had an eclectic group of friends and was well known for her unselfish, humble and welcoming personality. She was a loving member of her neighborhood and happy to meet and chat at the end of the week with her glass of white wine.

Her survivors include her husband, Larry McNeil; children David McNeil and Cheri McNeil; grandchildren: Jesse Tanner, Kenneth McNeil, Jake McNeil, and Mariah Whitfield; and great-grandchild Kosten Tanner.

Her smile, her love and her open arms will be missed by many.

The family will hold a memorial for friends and family at a later time.

She will be interred in Michigan at the grave site of her son John.
