Pisgah Forest

Brian Joshua Sentelle, 47, passed away peacefully of January 17, 2021 at Elizabeth House in Hendersonville, NC after a lengthy illness.  Born on August 16. 1973, he was a son of Kerry and Dawn Sentelle of Pisgah Forest.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Jason Sentelle of Pisgah Forest, Uncle, Devlin Wilde of Tuckaseegee, and special cousin, Mark Bolt of Pisgah forest.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Barbra Wilde and paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Violet Sentelle.

Brian loved the outdoors and was an accomplished fly fisherman from an early age.  He composed an award-winning poem on the subject as a teenager.  Baseball was his passion, he umpired many youth league games.  Being a roll model to aspiring young athletes was very rewarding for him.

After graduating from Rosman High, and the Basic Law Enforcement Training program at AB Community College, he went to work for trucking companies in Washington D.C. and Philadelphia.  He traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada and was able to see and experience more in his 47 years than most people in their lifetime.

Brian will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A drive-by visitation and book signing will be held 1PM – 2 PM, Friday, January 22, 2021 at Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations.
