Bette Ann Savage, 88, of Hendersonville, passed away on November 21, 2021. A native of Brighton, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Albert Thomas and Edith Gendreau Yarrington. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Savage, their son Paul Savage; her brother Al Yarrington and her sister Ellen Yarrington.
Mrs. Savage served her country by serving the Armed Forces through the U.S.O. (United Service Organizations) During her years of service in the U.S.O., she and her husband were able to provide housing and hospitality to a number of servicemen. She believed it was always best to help in private.
She loved her church: Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Brevard, and was a great mom to her children and grandchildren, who were her main priority.
Her loving survivors include her children: Tom Savage, Jim Savage and Betsy Hollman (Tim); and her grandchildren Michael Hollman and Abbey Holloman.
A Funeral Mass for Bette Ann Savage will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Shawn O’Neal officiating.
