Adelaide Rideout Blake, 95, of Brevard, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020. A native of New Haven, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Marguerite Rideout. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Don Blake, her brother Stuart Rideout, her sisters Marguerite Becket and Virginia Moore; and her granddaughter Naomi Blake.

A member of First United Methodist Church in Brevard, she loved music and loved to sing, both in the church choir as well as the Brevard Choral Society. She also loved and supported the music program at Brevard College and attended many concerts there. She also loved her family and she loved to travel.

Her loving survivors include her step-children, Scott Blake of Massachusetts, Charles Blake of Connecticut and Jean Blake of Austria; grandchildren: Emily Blake (Matthew Gross) of Washington, DC, Laura Blake of Portland, OR and Christopher Williams, of New York, NY; great-grandchildren Jersey Blake Gross and Ilya Blake Gross; brother Richard Rideout of Brevard; and her loving niece Chris Rideout and her husband Kerry, and their children Nicole Rideout, Justine Rideout and R.J. Rideout, of Brevard.
